Welcome to The Law Office of Erik Bauman
Erik Bauman
I grew up in Ohio, graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson summa cum laude, and made my home in Oakland after earning my JD from Berkeley Law in 2013. While in law school, I interned with the Electronic Frontier Foundation defending civil liberties related to technology and patents, as well as the East Bay Community Law Center helping tenants get needed repairs and defending unjust evictions. After passing the bar I decided to continue that work as a private attorney and much of my practice has been representing tenants against misbehaving landlords for the past 10 years.
In terms of what you can expect from me as your attorney, I am even tempered, analytical, and communicate clearly. I will give you sound advice, explain the strategic legal options available to you, and give my opinion on what the best choice is for your interests without putting my personal feelings into it. I want to help you get the best legal outcome available. I am also tech savvy, and will do what I can to make engaging in the legal process as convenient and painless as possible.
